Our Story

B&B

Resting on a peninsula surrounded by the bay lies a cottage bakery in a small drinking town with a big sailing problem. Bar & Batter blends a love of booze with artisan taste, creating freshly baked desserts handcrafted for the city of Annapolis and its tipsy friends.

A cookie with class and just a hint of mischief. This elevated take on the classic chocolate chip blends rich brown butter, smoky bacon flavor, and a touch of bourbon warmth for depth that lingers. Crisp at the edges, tender at the center. This is comfort, dressed in a three-piece suit.​

Espresso Dark Chocolate Cookie with Kahlua Icing & 3 Golden Espresso Beans

 

Elegant, enigmatic, and perfectly composed. This espresso martini inspired pâte sucrée cookie pairs dark chocolate and bold espresso beneath a smooth kahlua icing. A touch of indulgence and perhaps a little luck in every bite.​​

PB&J Skrewball Whiskey Cookie with a Chambord Raspberry Cardamon Jam and Peanut Butter Drizzle

Scholarly in construction, playful in spirit. Crunchy peanut butter and Skrewball Whiskey blend in harmonious richness and warmth, centered with a clever raspberry cardamom jam and finished with a smooth peanut butter drizzle. A dessert that’s both classic and curiously clever.​​

Orange Olive Oil Cake Finished with Cointreau Glaze

Born of Mediterranean elegance, this cake is rich yet feather-light, bathed with bright orange zest and curves that demand a second look. She’s the bell of the ball cloaked in a smooth Cointreau glaze. This treat is radiant, refined, and impossible to resist.

Earl Grey Infused Scone, Cassis Soaked Blueberries and Lemon Icing​

Like a morning sail through the bay in soft gray fog. This Earl Grey infused scone folds in Crème de Cassis soaked blueberries and finishes with a crisp lemon icing. Delicate, aromatic, and steeped in quiet sophistication.
